Are you passionate about Citizen Science? Would you like to design and implement citizen science capacity development interventions in the EU and Africa? Do you have at least three years of experience in a similar role?
You have strong analytical skills, experience with undertaking high quality scientific research and you thrive in a multi-cultural environment? Perhaps you have what it take to join our team as a Junior Researcher on Citizen Science!
This position contributes to the Horizon 2020 project ‘Ground Truth 2.0 – Environmental knowledge discovery of human-sensed data’ (2016-2019). The Ground Truth 2.0 project is undertaken by 14 partner organisations and aims to demonstrate and validate six scaled up citizen observatories in real operational conditions, in EU and Africa. Dr. Uta Wehn from IHE Delft is the Project Director of Ground Truth 2.0 and will guide the researcher.
