Citizen Observatory Policy Brief

This policy brief on Citizen Observatories “Citizen participation in the digital age – from policy to practice” captures the lessons learned from the three WeSenseIt case studies (in the UK, NL and Italy) and offers policy recommendations for using citizen observatories to improve stakeholder participation in environmental decision making (and flood risk management) in the digital age.

WeSenseIt was an EU FP7 project (2013- 2016) developing citizen observatories of water.
