Second International ECSA Conference 2018

The International ECSA Citizen Science Conference is aimed at scientists, practitioners, activists, funders, policy makers in the field of citizen science, non-governmental organizations, artists, and interested citizens. The last conference hosted 368 participants from 30 countries. The Second ECSA Conference is going to take place in Geneva, Switzerland, from 3 to 5 June 2018. The following questions are going to be discussed at the conference: What role can citizen science play: For grass root organizations? For empowering individual citizens? For increasing scientific literacy? What are the reasons for the public to do citizen science? What is the role of schools? What are the impacts on social innovation?
