Sense4us

The Sense4us project, co-funded under the FP7 Programme, ran from October 2013 until December 2016. The project aimed to support policy makers to take into account citizens’ views on policy issues in real time by providing them with tools to access a wide array of current data. The “Sense4us Toolbox” consists of several modules including theme analysis, social media sentiment analysis, simulation techniques and policy modelling. Pilots took place at three levels of participation:  European Institutions, the national level in the UK and Germany, and the state (local) level in Germany.
